The World of INTERNET

I don't know how to start with a topic that is as wide and broad as INTERNET. This thing has been a very useful and informative tool in our day to day activities. Before the internet, things are a lot harder and slow. Imagine the times when we have to wait for weeks and perhaps months to get a letter from someone you are corresponding with; but now you can actually correspond with each other as many times in an hour.  

We used to do our research in school libraries or public libraries, imagine how long will it take to get that information we need for our projects and homework; but because of internet, we can get that information by simply clicking. It is the most convenient means of communication to our love ones anywhere in the world. It gives us very wide information of anything we can think of; even things that we thought, do not exist.  

Internet also gives us an advance way of doing things such as dating, which is a very modern way of connecting intellectual and emotional relation to someone. Society is more expose to other cultures because of internet and through this, it is a lot easier for us to understand our differences, and we can easily adjust to each other. We learn a lot from the internet that if used properly, it will give us the benefit of a good knowledge and proper education. Though these are good benefits we get from the internet, there are also bad outcome that we get from it that we should avoid.  

The internet is like another world from the world we are living, and it is very overwhelming that other people use it as a form of a temporary escape from the real world. People tend to be masters when they use the internet because they can program or do anything that they want things to be done, while in the real world, they are not that, and they can't do that. Other people give misleading information to society that leads to confusions and unnecessary anxieties. People are too hooked up with the wonders of the internet that they do something that is no longer good to society. They create programs that are hazardous to the morals of the living being, that could end up to a demoniac society. People in general are becoming lazy because of the internet, they would prefer at the comfort of their homes to buy things and have them delivered at their doorsteps instead of going to shops. We tried to achieve convenience on our part by doing that but in the long run, it is making us weak and putting our health at risk in a way that we are no longer using our body to do things even the simply ones.  

This is one reason why there are a lot of diseases popping in the world now and some of them unexplained. Imagine the times when people do things manually? They are healthier and they live a longer life than the present generation and God knows what the future generation would be like. Although we have this kind advantage that we enjoy, I think it should be used properly in a way that it's still creating a good society. The very best way to achieve that kind of environment is to educate people the right way of using this tool specially the young ones who are now exposed to the internet. Parents or adults should guide their kids in using the internet specially on browsing sites, and they should put some restrictions on its usage such us too much exposure to online games and restrict them from browsing adult sites. The best way of teaching your kids is to practice it yourself; There are sites that are very useful and educating so why go to sites that are degrading to society, that way, you are creating a good environment.  

To conclude everything, we can always find ways to create a healthy and good society with the help of the internet and with the help of each other of aiming that goal. The best way to start is now and the best one to do it, is you.
